Totus Tuus (Latin for “Totally Yours”, St. John Paul II’s motto as Pope) is a FUN and energetic parish-based summer program for both 1st-6th graders and junior high / high school youth. Local college students and seminarians are trained in teams of four to spend the summer spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ through week-long day camps in parishes throughout the diocese. Totus Tuus focuses on the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist and our Blessed Mother Mary as our guide, as we go ‘to Jesus through Mary’!
Grade School Program Grades 1-6 The program for 1st-6th grade students runs Monday-Friday from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. The day is spent in fun learning sessions led by the team of college students, broken up by skits, games, songs, and a daily decade of the rosary. Students attend Mass at 11:15 am each day (all are welcome to join us for Mass and lunch following!), and the Sacrament of Reconciliation is available for students throughout the week. Students should bring a cold lunch each day, which will be stored in the refrigerator until lunch. On Friday, we have water fun in the afternoon to end out the week, so all are asked to bring a swimsuit, towel, and squirt guns if you have them!
